Dr. Shoeb studied Neuroscience at Brown University and earned her M.D. and M.S. through the UCSF–UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program. She trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, one of the top primary care programs in the country, and completed a fellowship in Hospital Medicine at UCSF, where she later served as faculty for 12 years. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been recognized with awards for excellence in teaching, research, and humanitarian service.
Dr. Shoeb believes exceptional care begins with truly knowing her patients—listening closely and partnering with them at every stage of health. She provides thoughtful, proactive, and comprehensive care with a strong focus on prevention, wellness, and patient empowerment.
Dr. Shoeb lives in Marin with her twin boys, where they enjoy the natural beauty and close-knit spirit of the community. Outside of medicine, she finds joy in hiking the coastal trails, skiing in the Sierras, surfing (only in warm oceans), cooking, and exploring new places around the world. Fluent in Arabic and French, she brings a global perspective to her patients and her work.

I’m working with Dr. Hillary Fredrickson, ND, an accomplished naturopathic physician. Together, we plan to integrate the best of natural medicine and evidence-based western care to offer patients a truly comprehensive and personalized approach to their health and well-being.
I’m partnering with Surbhi Adora, a certified strength and lifestyle coach, whose background in corporate leadership allows her to uniquely integrate strength training with executive and personal development. Her approach helps women build physical and mental resilience, optimize energy, make clear business decisions, and recover mindfully.
The practice operates on a yearly subscription or fee-for-service model, allowing Dr. Shoeb to provide highly personalized and accessible care without the constraints of traditional insurance.
While Dr. Shoeb is an out-of-network practice, she offers superbills patients can submit to their insurance carriers for partial reimbursement following office visits.
Laboratory tests and imaging studies are billed directly to your insurance by the performing lab or imaging center. Visits with specialists are covered according to each specialist’s individual billing policies.
This approach ensures you receive exceptional, patient-centered care — with transparent fees and no surprises.
